The fifth Tan Son Hoa Ward – Menas Spring Flower street has officially opened near Tan Son Nhat International Airport, marking five years since the initiative was launched to create a large-scale public cultural space for residents and visitors during the Lunar New Year.

Located within the Menas Mall complex and extending from Truong Son street to Hong Ha street, the flower street was developed with an investment of nearly VND 5 billion. Organizers describe it as the largest spring flower street in northern Ho Chi Minh City for the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year.

Open to the public from January 31 through February 23, it is also the longest-operating flower street in the city, with more than 500,000 visitors expected over the holiday period.

This year’s exhibition carries the theme “The Rhythm of Binh Ngo Spring – An Era of Ascent,” presenting stylized representations of Vietnam’s northern, central and southern regions. The central installation depicts Saint Giong riding an iron horse, a legendary figure symbolizing national resilience and the aspiration for progress.

Surrounding displays include stilt houses and terraced fields inspired by Vietnam’s northwest, traditional incense villages from the central region, and lotus-themed river scenes representing the Mekong Delta. The arrangement blends traditional imagery with contemporary design, creating a public art space aimed at both local communities and international visitors.

At the opening ceremony, Nguyen Duc Quynh, General Director of Menas, said the project reflects the company’s long-term commitment to cultural and community-oriented initiatives, adding that the flower street is intended as a symbolic gift to the public at the start of the new year.

Truong Le My Ngoc, Secretary of the Tan Son Hoa Ward Party Committee and Chairperson of the Ward People’s Council, highlighted the collaboration between local authorities and the private sector, describing the flower street as an example of how public–private partnerships can contribute to urban cultural life and community well-being.

In parallel with the exhibition, Menas Mall is hosting Lunar New Year activities such as calligraphy demonstrations, lucky draws, and family photography services. Culinary events are also being held at the Yum Food Village on the mall’s fifth floor. Retail promotions under the “Mena Sale” campaign feature nearly 200 brands, offering discounts of up to 80% during the peak holiday shopping period.
