MISS EDE debuts in US market with high-quality Vietnamese robusta
MISS EDE's recent shipment of 18,000 packages of roasted coffee to the US marks a pivotal step for Dak Lak’s coffee industry toward global recognition.
EDE Farm Trade Service LLC (MISS EDE) has exported a container with 18,000 packages of branded roasted coffee to the US, becoming the second company from Dak Lak province, after Trung Nguyen, to export finished Vietnamese coffee to America.
The coffee will be distributed through a supermarket network in Illinois, marking a significant milestone for Vietnamese coffee’s international reach.
This shipment consists of a fully finished coffee product, processed through a high-quality fermentation process and produced on an FDA-certified production line. The beans are sourced from sustainable farming regions under the management of strategic partner Simexco Dak Lak.
To conquer a market accustomed to arabica, MISS EDE developed a unique, mild fermented robusta with natural fruity notes. The product has earned international certifications including EUDR, Fairtrade, and Rainforest Alliance, winning trust from U.S. importers after months of testing.
MISS EDE's founder Hoang Danh Huu credited the success to support from local authorities and major partners like Simexco Dak Lak and Central Retail Vietnam, which have propelled MISS EDE’s growth within five years.
“To establish Vietnam's Robusta in the U.S. market, high-quality products and seamless coordination between farmers, processing experts and distribution partners are crucial,” Huu stated.
As a young company, MISS EDE has received substantial support from local authorities and partners. It remains committed to sustainability and aims to inspire the SME community. MISS EDE is also one of nearly 200 Vietnamese companies adopting the Women’s empowerment principles (WEPs).
During the ceremony for the first U.S. shipment, MISS EDE awarded 1 per cent of its shares to an outstanding female employee, recognizing her contribution purely based on merit and dedication.
