Vingroup said former Manchester United captain would be appointed Football Director of the Promotion Fund for Vietnamese Football Talents FC (PVF), who will be responsible for coaching players, training coaches and participating in building and developing PVF to become the leading youth football training centre in Vietnam, in line with the famous football academies across the world.

Ryan Giggs is accompanied by former Red Devils’ talented midfielder Paul Scholes, one of the pillars of Manchester United in its prime time.

In a statement released on November 13th, Vingroup confirmed "the fact that Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes joined PVF is a part of the strategy towards the international standards of professional football."

On November 20th, Vingroup will inaugurate the 22-hectare PVF football training centre in Hung Yen with the most modern facilities in the country such as Asia's first 360S simulator room and PlayerTek, Europe's premier tool to track and analyse the performance of the team and individual players.

Also on this day, there will be friendly matches between U15 international football team such as Stoke City (England), Central Coast Mariners (Australia), Busan I'park (Korea) and U15 PVF.

Apart from football, Vingroup - a multidisciplinary group with such brands as Vinhomes, Vinpearl, Vinmec, Vinschool, Vincom Center, VinEco, etc. - has also entered the animation production field. Late last month, Vingroup officially introduced VinTaTa with two modern studios in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
