A strategic cooperation agreement has been signed today in Hanoi between the two parties, which accorldingly will allow users of ride-haling app FastGo to enjoy their trip on the newly-launched vehicles by VinFast.
Both models of VinFast Fadil and VinFast Lux will be offered via FastGo’s services of FastCar and FastLux.
In the first phase, Vingroup will provide 1,500 VinFast Fadil for FastGo and its driver-partners. In the second phase, the car manufacturing unit of Vingroup is committed to supply its existing high-end models, as well as upcoming ones to be introduced to the market, for FastGo’s FastLux service.
The FastGo service featured VinFast cars will be first introduced in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Danang and will be accessible in other provinces at a later stage.
FastGo’s driver-partners will particularly be entitled to special financial supports when they purchase the vehicle from VinFast. Customers, on the other hand, will be offered high-quality services and maximum safety when travelling on the VinFast cars.
FastGo has planned to upgrade its app in the coming time, with facilities designed exclusively for customers with demand for rides on VinFast cars.
According to Nguyen Huu Tuat, founder and chairman of FastGo, the collaboration with Vingroup is the one of its kind in the world when a car manufacturer has combined forces with a ride-hailing startup to offer an unique service to customers.
“The cooperation has helped FastGo to make a difference in the ride sharing market,” he noted.
Meanwhile, working with ride-sharing providers like FastGo, according to Vo Quang Hue, deputy CEO of VinFast, “is always a good way for VinFast to cater to the need of travel among local residents”.
