Doan Van Binh, Chairman of CEO Group and Vice President of the Vietnam National Real Estate Association, introduced his latest book, “Vietnam Real Estate for Foreigners,” at a launch event in Hanoi on Friday.
Published by the National Political Publishing House, the Vietnamese-English bilingual book provides a comprehensive overview of Vietnam’s real estate market for international investors.
It includes details on legal regulations under the updated Land Law, the Housing Law and the Real Estate Business Law, and outlines procedures for buying, leasing, and investing in various property types, from residential to industrial real estate.
Binh described the book as a tool to welcome foreign investment and promote the country’s economic potential, urging readers to explore opportunities in Vietnam.
“Vietnam is a beautiful country with tremendous development potential in the New Era – an era of national resurgence. Through this book, we extend an invitation to international friends to come to Vietnam to explore, work and invest," he said.
According to the National Political Publishing House, in the context of international integration, the demand for overseas asset ownership is rising and Vietnam is becoming an attractive destination for investors thanks to its stable political environment, impressive economic growth, modern infrastructure, and young, dynamic population.
Binh's book aims to provide foreign investors with a convenient guide to navigating the legal regulations and investment opportunities in Vietnam's real estate market.
Dr. Nguyen Van Khoi, President of the Vietnam National Real Estate Association (VNREA), praised the book as an essential resource for international investors interested in the Vietnamese property market.
Khoi stated that the book provides in-depth guidance on buying, leasing, and investing in Vietnam real estate, aiming to streamline market access for foreigners. He described the publication as a valuable tool not only for foreign investors but also for Vietnamese enterprises seeking to collaborate with international partners.
In light of recent reforms in Vietnam's land, housing, and real estate business laws, Khoi noted that the book serves as a timely roadmap to navigate the new regulatory landscape. The book combines legal insights, business practices and an international perspective, reflecting the expertise of the VNREA vice president in charge of foreign affairs.
“This book is a meaningful contribution to the real estate sector and a bridge connecting Vietnam’s property market with the world, enhancing our nation's image globally,” Khoi said.
Jeff Foo, former President of Institute of Estate Agents, Singapore, founding member of ASEAN Real Estate Network Alliance stated: “I found the contents very easy to understand and useful information for sharing with my students about the Vietnam real estate market.
