VinFast to open car factory in June
The automobile manufacturing factory of VinFast in Haiphong would be put into operation three months earlier than its initial schedule.

Vietnam's first domestic automaker VinFast has been continuously transporting experimental cars to 14 countries for safety and endurance testing.
After being tested with world-class equipment and standard, VinFast’s cars have been evaluated positively, reflecting the completion of production lines.
This is also an important basis for the company to accelerate construction in order to put the factory into operation by June 2019 instead of this September, VinFast announced in a release.
Vinfast has made a record in the world’s automobile industry as a newcomer with only 21 months for factory construction, installation and car trials.
“VinFast is ready to provide Vietnamese customers the world-class automotive products,” said VinFast chairwoman Le Thi Thu Thuy.
VinFast automobile factory is being built to be the largest and most modern one in Southeast Asia. Its production process is synchronized and closed, applying advanced technologies to automate workshops for stamping, welding, painting, and assembling.
The first CUV Fadil models of VinFast are expected to reach customers in the second quarter of this year while the Lux-branded sedan and SUV models are planned to be sold in the following quarter.
