Vinfast reveals two favorite electric and mini car models

After a ten-day poll, the contest "Selection of your own cars – 2" initiated by Vinfast has found two most favorite electric and mini car designs out of 36 designs.
The contest attracted 300,000 visitors and IDG EV A (electric) and IDG ICE A (mini) created by Ital Design received the largest number of votes.
On March 8, 2018, Vinfast Manufacturing and Trading Co., Ltd, a member of Vingroup, announced its 36 designs including 17 electric car models and 19 mini car models which are made exclusively for Vinfast by four famous studios in the world, namely Ital Design, One One Lab, Pininfarina and Torino Design.
Thanks to fashionable, distinct and strong styles, two electric and mini car models of Ital Design once again impressed car enthusiasts and received the most votes with 22.8 per cent and 21 per cent, respectively.
"Our goal is not only to create modern, fashionable and world-class Vinfast cars but also to convey the pride of Vietnamese-branded car," said Nguyen Viet Quang, Deputy Chairman of Vingroup.
As planned, Vinfast will introduce electric and mini cars to the market by the end of 2019, one year earlier than initial target.
Vinfast expects to launch two Sedan and SUV car models, which received the largest number of votes from the contest "Selection of your own cars – 1”, at the Paris Motorshow 2018 organized in October and the Vietnam Motorshow 2018 in December.
Just over four months, Vinfast has announced a total of 56 designs for four vehicles including sedan, SUV, mini and electric cars designed by the world's leading car design studios.
The firm is now accelerating the construction of auto manufacturing factory to catch up with the schedule, while simultaneously signing contracts with foreign major partners to purchase designs and manufacture automobiles.
