The second Automotive Technology Institute of VinFast staffs nearly 100 employees who are industry experts and excellent engineers from the world’s leading automakers such as GM, Toyota, Ford, Jaguar Land Rover, together with hundreds of partners’ employees.
The Automotive Technology Institute 2 is headed by Kevin Yardley, who held senior management roles at GM Holden for 20 years. GM Holden is the automotive brand which is considered “the pride of Australians”. Yardley also has years of experience in developing new cars in Australia, China, India, etc.
The establishment of VinFast Office in Melbourne – the industrial hub of Austrialia is a strategic move of VinFast in its journey to conquer the world. With the advantage of being the “headquarters” of giant car manufacturers such as Toyota, Ford, Mitsubishi, GM, Melbourne has available facilities, complete supply chains and experienced human resources with profound expertise and knowledge of the auto industry.
