Current situation of Vietnam’s water supply and sewerage industry: stable but slow growth rate

The statistics in 2021 indicated that share price of companies in water sectors only increased by 23 per cent, lower than the increase of VNIndex, which was partly caused by many limitations in terms of technology, capacity, and large costs of clean water treatment process and investments.

In order to support enterprises to get close with advanced water supply and sewerage technology as well as accompany them to grow steadily, Informa Markets organizes the international exhibition and conference named VIETWATER2022 from 9 to 11 November, 2022 at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC), District 7, Ho Chi Minh City which is supported by Vietnam Urban Environment and Industrial Zone Association, Water Chapter of ASEAN US Science & Technology Fellowship Association (ASEAN S&T).

Accompany the water supply and sewerage, wastewater treatment industry in Vietnam for more than ten years

As an annual event of the water industry in Vietnam, VIETWATER receives the attention and trust from a large number of domestic and foreign enterprises. 

VIETWATER 2022 welcomes the participation of more than 250 enterprises from 25 countries and regions, and promises to be a bridge for Vietnamese water supply and sewerage enterprises to integrate with the global water supply and sewerage industry as well as give an opportunity of unlimited trading for all companies operating in water, water supply and sewerage, and wastewater treatment industries in Vietnam.

This exhibition is an opportunity for agencies and enterprises to access many advanced global water supply and sewerage technologies on the exhibition space of more than 5,000 square meters. In particular, they can explore outstanding technologies from seven international group pavilions including UK, Australia, Germany, Singapore, Taiwan, and China. 

In addition to the exhibition programme, the International Water Conference which gathers many of international industry experts together with Technical Seminar are a must-attend concurrent events at VIETWATER.

At the conference, the attendances can have chance to listen to sharing from leading national and international experts about the latest information related to effective water resource management, sustainable water supply and sewerage solutions and smart technology, to adapt to climate change, digital transformation for water industry in Vietnam, etc. in order to solve the challenges and difficulties of Vietnam’s water industry.
