Vietjet resumes regular international flights to Japan, South Korea and Taiwan to meet the needs of passengers for safe learning, working and travelling.
As the pandemic is under control in Vietnam and several countries, the skies between Vietnam and international destinations are being reconnected.
Vietjet will resume international flights to Tokyo (Japan), Seoul (South Korea) and Taipei (Taiwan) from September 29, 2020 with one flight to each destination per week.
Passengers entering Vietnam must have a medical certificate with a negative Covid-19 test result taken at most three days before departure times as well as comply with mandatory medical quarantine requirements of the country.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh agreed to reopen international flights from Vietnam to six countries and a territory since September 15, 2020, including Quang Zhou (China), Tokyo (Japan), Seoul (South Korea), Taipei (Taiwan) and Vientiane (Laos).
However, the frequency will be limited to no more than two flights a week for each way.
