The launching of TheLEADER Magazine

TheLEADER Magazine – The Business Leaders Forum of the Vietnam Association of Corporate Directors (VACD) is officially launched today and integrated to the sustainable development of the Vietnam media industry.

Dear Our Esteemed Readers,

Our Editorial Board would like to convey all the best compliments to our esteemed readers!

Dated back 10 years ago, together with an inspiration of Vietnam’s integration into the World Trade Organization (WTO) having paved the way for historical opportunities and tough challenges to businesses as well as concerns of vulnerabilities for corporate governance and management of a great deal of Vietnamese enterprises, the Vietnam Association of Corporate Directors (VACD) was officially established and put into operation on July 04, 2007.

With the target of “For A Better Corporate Governance”, VACD’s mission has been a contribution to improvement of capability of corporate governance of Vietnam, especially in the governance of nation, businesses, organizations and communities.

After 10 years, having been in continuity of the abovementioned inspiration, TheLEADER Magazine, the Business Leaders Forum of the Vietnam Association of Corporate Directors was officially electronically published on internet. This is a significantly important event in the VACD’s development plans aimed at persistently following up the target of “For A Better Corporate Governance.”

TheLEADER has developed in accordance with modern governance principles and its content being focused on a reflection of business and economic activities in association with governance stories. TheLEADER’s objective is to contribute to the sustainable development of Vietnamese media industry. Simultaneously, TheLEADER will accompany the business leaders, contributing to enhancement of competitive capability of enterprises as well as national strategies of competitive capability improvement.

The Editorial Board of TheLEADER once again would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Leaders, specialized Departments and Sections of the Central Propaganda and Training Commission, Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Association of Corporate Directors (VACD) as well as consultancy units, international and domestic experts for their helpful and significant contribution ideas throughout the process of preparation, construction and development of TheLEADER magazine.

Also, TheLEADER is looking forward to continuously being concerned and accompanied with by our esteemed readers for the time being.
