TH Group kicks off $162 million dairy farm project in Thanh Hoa
TH Group is putting in place another high-tech dairy farm project in Thanh Hoa province, which will be home to over 20,000 cows and a processing plant with designed capacity of 300 tonnes of milk a day.

TH Group has broken ground for construction of a large cow farm and milk-processing plant in Thanh Hoa province with the attendance of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
With the establishment of the this new high-tech dairy farm, local dairy giant TH Group has now been able to reinforce its dairy brand in Vietnam, with three large-scale dairy farm projects in the provinces of Nghe An, Phu Yen and Ha Giang.
By 2025, the group expects to have up to 200,000 cows across its farms.
TH Group has also taken the initiative to introduce its sustainable development model, in which farmers are given and equipped with skills and techniques, in a bid to produce qualified and standardised milk for export.
Advanced technologies being employed in the process include cloud computing, internet of things and centralised farming model.
The group has worked with farmers utilising its high-tech and sustainable development model in Dalat. Once the model is successfully rolled out in Thanh Hoa, TH Group will multiply this model to other provinces like Cao Bang, Lao Cai, Quang Ninh and so on.
Nguyen Xuan Cuong, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, emphasised the importance of the project in the restructuring progress of Vietnam’s agriculture sector.
TH Group is currently the owner of the largest hi-tech dairy farm in Asia. This farm is located in Nghe An province with 45,000 dairy cows and equipped with the fresh milk manufacturing plant with capacity of 200,000 tonnes of milk a year in the first phase.
