With the population of 90 million people who are swiftly adopting the new technologies and the rapid economic growth, Vietnam has many potentials to develop its smart cities, according to Roger Thomas Moyes, Project Director of the Mekong Business Initiative (MBI).

Innovative urban solutions for development of smart cities

Up to three winners of the Smart City Innovation Challenge (SCIC) were cash prized and will be fast-tracked to the cities’ acceleration programs to help localize their solutions, thereafter securing projects if agreed milestones are met.
