By An Nhien September 07, 2017 | 04:13 PM GMT+7

The Minister of Industry and Trade would directly inspect the sub-licenses eradication to radically eliminate maximum of the current 1,216 unnecessary business conditions, making it more determined in the campaign.

Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh

At the meeting on administrative procedure reform just held, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh assigned related departments to urgently overhaul and eradicate unnecessary business conditions and create an action plan for the upcoming time, removing obstacles for enterprises.

Reform of administrative procedures and continuous reduction of sublicenses are expected to cover on various areas such as gasolene, alcohol, rice and logistics.

According to the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM), there are still 1,216 business conditions which seriously hinder the mobilization of resources and production.

This time, the Minister would directly inspect the administrative procedure reform. Accordingly, agencies must submit the report on the implementation of the sub-licenses eradication by September 14 to the Minister, in which the retained business conditions must follow the international commitments for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) enterprises and the Article 7 of Investment Law 2014.

The campaign must also aim at a new form of management in which the state management agencies will always have to guide and supervise the enterprises in following the standards and regulations.
