KN Van Ninh solar power plant inagurated in Khanh Hoa

KN Van Ninh Solar Power Investment and Development Co., Ltd on December 26, 2020, launched the inauguration ceremony of KN Van Ninh solar power plant project.

KN Van Ninh solar power project is built on an area of 120 hectares and located in Van Hung commune, Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province with a total investment of over $86 million and with a total design capacity of 100 MWp. 

Construction commenced in June 2020, after six months, the factory officially came into operation on December 11, 2020. 

When the plant is put into operation, it is expected to contribute to the national grid with a power output of nearly 162,000 MWh/ year, which would help reduce CO2 emissions to the environment by about 154,000 tons per year.

In order to bring socio-economic efficiency, environmental protection, safe operation, the factory has put into use the most advanced and modern technologies from leading suppliers such as Canada and Japan.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice chairman of People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa province Dinh Van Thieu praised the company’s determination, proactively overcoming difficulties in the Covid-19 pandemic and severe weather to complete this project according to committed schedule. 

The project not only contributes provide clean energy sources, ensuring national energy security but also contributes to labor settlement in the region and contributes to the state budget.

Following the charity activities in the region, the representative of the company donated nearly $13.000 to the fund for the poor in Van Hung and Ninh An commune, contributing to the improvement of the quality of socio-life for local people.
