Empire City is an observatory tower complex project, which has a total area of 14.5 hectares located in a prime location at the core of Thu Thiem urban area, district 2, Ho Chi Minh City, along Mai Chi Tho street and Saigon riverside.
Under the approved plan, Empire City will be a complex that includes 3,700 luxury apartments, commercial centers, 5-star hotels, offices, underground parking lots and a multi-functional 86-storey tower with a total floor area of around 730,000 square metres.
This project follows the architectural direction of a "city in the heart of another city", creating a high-class environment for living, working and entertaining with modern facilities including central plaza, swimming pool, garden, sports center, food court, BBQ garden, etc.
In mid-2015, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City granted the investment license to the Emperor VN Co., Ltd. to implement the Observation Tower Complex project. Accordingly, the project with total investment capital of roundly $1.2 billion is expected to be completed by 2022 after finalizing four phases of the project.
Emperor VN Co., Ltd. has a chartered capital of $72 million, contributed by four shareholders, namely Keppel Land (40 per cent), Gaw Capital Partners (30 per cent), Tien Phuoc Real Estate Joint Stock Company and Tran Thai Real Estate Company Limited.
