VinFast customers have enjoyed a memorable car handover this morning when they were hand-on with the final touch to finish their new car off, ready to roll out of the factory unit in excitement.
The very first batch of ‘make in Vietnam’ VF LUX SA2.0 and LUX A2.0 cars have been collected by the pre-registered customers at Vinfast factory in Haiphong’s Dinh Vu Industrial Zone on the morning of July 28. The handover has gone in line with VinFast’s delivery schedule that it had committed earlier on.
Owners of the new cars have been given a unique opportunity to install the Vinfast logo on their car’s wheels. Their car was then ready for a test drive before being signed off to roll out of the production line.
“Perfect” was the remark of Le Viet Hai, chairman of Hoa Binh Construction JSC, when he completed the test drive of the LUX SA2.0.
“I think highly of VinFast for not only its effort in building the factory plant in merely 21 months to make ‘the very miracle of Vietnam’, but also its work to create quality products on par with German-quality high-end cars. VinFast car deserves to be the car of the nation,” said Hai.
A LUX A2.0 sedan model currently costs VND990 million ($43,043) each while the SUV version is priced at VND1.415 billion ($61,522). The price of both models will go up to VND1.5 billion ($65,217) and VND2 billion ($86,956) each starting September 1.
