C.T Group, formerly known as Saigon Trading Company, has 30 member companies with more than 2,000 employees, according to its website.

It is Tran Kim Chung who established, developed C.T Group and is currently the group’s Chairman. C.T Group now has a charter capital of VND6 trillion (US$264 million) of which Chung holds 83 per cent.

Late last year, Chung was elected as a member of the National Bank of Vietnam (NCB)’s Board of Directors for the 2015-2020 term.

Through its subsidiary, C.T Finance Connection Joint Stock Company (CTFC), the group has participated in the equitisation of SOEs and invested in the banking industry.

Although operating in many sectors, real estate is considered the main business line of this group. The remaining sectors are often associated with real estate such as retail, construction, tourism.

As planned, C.T Group will continue to develop projects on the land fund covering over 1,000 hectares while listing C.T Land, a real estate company.

After years of quiet development, it can be said that C.T Land has built a real estate empire with all kinds of products. Specifically, the company is developing brands of residential real estate, including Léman - luxury apartment, I-Home – affordable apartment and Bee Home – affordable rental apartment.

Léman Luxury Apartments, the most prominent project of C.T Land, gathers countless fashion stores and luxury restaurants and is located in the heart of District 3, Ho Chi Minh city (HCMC). The price of a luxury apartment in this project was once up to US$4,200 per square meters.

The company is developing seven Léman-branded projects across the country.

Regarding retail real estate under the C.T Plaza brand, the company is developing many projects in HCMC such as C.T Plaza Wall Street, C.T Plaza Nguyen Hong and in other provinces and cities.

In tourism real estate, C.T Group has developed high-class resorts with a design and business model close to nature. Léman Cap Resort & Spa Vung Tau is designed artistically and is the intersection of two cultures Vietnam - France from the 40s and 50s. Léman Tree Resort in Nha Trang is a freshly green oasis, separately lying on green, peaceful Cai River.

C.T Land also introduced the Saigon Venice project covering 110 hectares with about 1,400 villas in Cu Chi district, HCMC.
