88-storey tower complex plan in Van Don economic zone passed

88-storey iconic tower complex with over 3,000 rooms has become the highlight of the Heritage Road project which has just been approved.

Quang Ninh Province Committee has recently approved the subdivision B8 of the Heritage Road project in the future special economic zones (SEZ) in Van Don. 

The project covers an area of 109.63 hectares, which is located in Ha Long city, Southwest of Sonasea Van Don Harbor City project, Southeast of Bai Tu Long bay.

The Heritage Road project has a planning area of over 3,300 hectares, which combines seven subdivisions spreading over mountains and islands. There will also be nine functional subdivisions including Hai Van - Ocean theme resort; Ky Van - Uptown; Lam Van - Ecotourism; Lac Van - high-end mountainside area; Van Cang - Beach resort; Ngoc Van - Group of island.

As part of the plan of the project, there will be 156 seaward villas, 35 on-the-sea villas, two 18-storey hotels with over 1,735 rooms, a 42-storey one with 1,234 rooms; three 43-storey towers of hotel and resort complex with 1,243 rooms.

One of the most noteworthy aspect of the project is the 88-storey iconic tower complex with 3,061 rooms as this is the highest planning area in the project.

In addition, there will also be shopping center, services and tourism areas such as sea club, water sports club, marina and boat club, wedding center, inland water park, green park and public beach.

According to the plan, this project will be a heritage road connecting the nature, history, culture, social economics with accommodation services and entertainment services. 

This heritage road will not only contribute to the economic development but also be utilized for rescue and protection purposes and defense purpose as well if required.

Upon the completion of the project, it expects to serve over 22,500 people including 17,390 visitors and 5,126 staff members.
