VinFast offers Premium cars with price 30 per cent lower than Toyota, Honda

By Tung Anh January 24, 2019 | 07:43 AM GMT+7

VinFast will launch new Premium cars to the market by 2020 with a special competitive price policy covering all four segments A, B, C and D.

VinFast will market its Premium series by 2020.

VinFast Premium series, short for Pre, are high-class cars like Honda, Toyota ... in the market. The Pre series will be initially released with seven models, covering all segments A, B, C and D. Segments A and B have one hatchback and one CUV model; Segment C has one Sedan and one CUV model; Segment D has one sedan, one SUV and one family car model.

According to VinFast, Pre models will be marketed by 2020 with the aim of introducing world-class cars in a popular price segment to more widely meet customer needs.

Accordingly, VinFast's Pre cars will be offered with prices significantly lower than Lux cars (high-end segment cars) and will be about 20 – 30 per cent lower than other cars in the same segment in the market.

Earlier on January 15, 2019, VinFast announced the launch of Premium cars, covering all segments A, B, C and D, from small cars, multipurpose sports cars to family cars. The Pre series would initially consist of seven models, covering all segments A, B, C and D.

VinFast said it would continue to work closely with the famous Italian design firms as Ital Design, Torino Design, Pininfarina.

The Pre series will be continuously produced on the world's leading technology line in the manufacturing industry, with a commitment to launch quality products to the market under VinFast’s philosophy "Vietnamese, Style, Safety, Creativity, Pioneering”.

Currently, this company is maintaining its policy “Three No with incentives” (Three No means no inclusion of depreciation cost, financial expense and profit) for Lux and Fadil cars by August 31, 2019. This preferential price will be gradually reduced in three periods: January 01, 2019, May 01, 2019 and "Three No" from September 01, 2019. Specifically, with "Three No", SUV Lux SA 2.0 will be priced at VND1,818 billion ($78,514), Lux A 2.0 Sedan at VND1,366 billion ($58,993) and Fadil at VND 423 million ($18,268) (excluding VAT).

Thus, in 2019, customers who buy VinFast cars will continue to enjoy the "Three No" policy with the selling price equal to the product cost plus selling cost.
