T&T Group has officially become a strategic shareholder of Vietravel Airlines following the successful signing of a share transfer agreement.
The agreement, finalized on December 12, includes T&T Airlines Joint Stock Company (T&T Airlines), T&T SuperPort International Logistics and SuperPort Center Co., Ltd. (T&T SuperPort), and BVIM Fund Management Joint Stock Company as new stakeholders in Vietravel Airlines.

This collaboration is expected to meet growing customer demand and solidify Vietravel Airlines' position as Vietnam’s first tourism-focused airline in both domestic and international aviation markets.
"The share transfer marks an important step in realizing Vietravel Airlines' investment and development plans. With the support of our new strategic partners, we are confident in the airline's sustainable growth and success in the coming years," Ky stated.
T&T Group’s Chairman Do Quang Hien described the move as a key moment for both T&T Airlines and T&T SuperPort in their growth trajectory.
The strategic partnership, he added, will provide vital resources and new opportunities for Vietravel Airlines to strengthen its market position, while also driving development across the transportation, aviation, and tourism sectors.
The collaboration is poised to enhance the country's logistics and multi-modal transport capabilities, contributing to the economic growth and raising Vietnam's international profile.
Vietravel Airlines will now play an integral role in T&T Group’s broader infrastructure and logistics projects, including Quang Ninh Port, Quang Tri Airport and Vietnam's "superport" logistics center at Vĩnh Phúc, as well as other key projects currently under development.
“With T&T Group’s support, Vietravel Airlines will not only lead the aviation industry in Vietnam and the region but also expand its services to align with global aviation industry standards. We are committed to driving economic growth and positioning Vietnam as a key player in the international aviation landscape," Hien emphasized.
Vietravel Airlines, approved by the government with an initial investment of VND700 billion (about $28 million) in 2020, was allowed to increase its charter capital to VND1.3 trillion (around $52 million) late last year.
