On November 9th, the world's largest fashion retailer Zara (Zara) attracted thousands of customers to the grand opening of its first store in Hanoi.
To draw the attention of the public to the grand opening of the first store in Hanoi, also the second one in Vietnam, Zara had placed a giant billboard to make announcement of its entry at Vincom Ba Trieu Shopping Mall for many days before.
Located in the heart of Hanoi, Zara’s first store occupies three floors of Vincom Ba Trieu Shopping Mall, with an area of nearly 4,000 square metres. Zara has applied modern technology in managing and supervising the store such as registering mobile numbers for the fitting room and having a private escalator for customers.
The average price of the products here is from VND200,000 (about US$8.82) to VND2,000,000 (about US$88). Despite they are all bearing Zara’s brand, their place of production such as Vietnam, Turkey,… are clearly stated.
The attention of those from Hanoi and northern provinces for Zara’s first store in Hanoi is quite remarkable.
