Sovico and Samsung SDS signs MoU on comprehensive strategic cooperation

Samsung SDS and Sovico Group today announced their comprehensive strategic cooperation in digital transformation and sharing joint business opportunities in the coming time.

Leaders of Sovico Group and Samsung SDS signs the MoU.

The MoU signing was conducted during the official visit of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and a high-level Vietnamese delegation to South Korea last week.

Accordingly, Sovico Group and Samsung SDS, a software arm of Samsung, will cooperate in logistics, digital banking technology, aviation, smart city consultancy, IT solutions for business, etc.

The partnership will uphold market leading positions of Sovico Group and Samsung SDS in their businesses. Especially, Samsung SDS’ know-hows and technological platforms will not only enhance significantly Sovico Group’s existing digital services but also bring greater benefits for two companies’ customers, and enable two sides to develop joint business opportunities.

President and CEO of Samsung SDS WP Hong said, "Samsung SDS is dedicated to support Sovico Group's digital innovation and we believe this partnership will help us to further expand our presence in Vietnam.”

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Founder Council of Sovico Group Nguyen Thanh Hung expected that the cooperation with Samsung SDS will contribute to a significant growth for two companies and soon offer more products and services to the market community. 

Sovico Group which established in the 1990s, has been a leading multi-industry group in Vietnam. The group has been operating effectively and sustainably across numerous sectors – finance and banking, aviation, real estate, energy, asset management and investment. Sovico Group is the founder of Vietjet Aviation JSC and a big shareholder of HDBank.
