This initiative aims to bring unique agricultural products from the region to visitors and consumers in Vietnam.
Mena Gourmet Market has announced its partnership with the Danang Hotel Association and several local farms, including Viet Farm Cooperative, to promote sustainable economic development in the mountainous region of Tay Giang district, Quang Nam province.
The project encompasses a 10-hectare area in Tr’Hy commune, where a variety of spices, herbs, and natural specialties are cultivated and harvested in an environmentally friendly manner, taking advantage of the area’s ideal soil and climate conditions.
After harvesting, products such as H'Mong black chicken, grass ducks, waxgourds, pumpkins, banana flowers, and tea vines will be distributed to member hotels of the Danang Hotel Association in Danang city and Hoi An town.
Additionally, these products will be transported to Ho Chi Minh City for sales at Mena Gourmet Market, offering discerning diners the pure flavors of Quang Nam.
Nguyen Ngoc Quy, Chief Operations Officer of Menas Vietnam stated, “This program reflects Mena Gourmet Market’s commitment to supporting the community and promoting sustainable agriculture.”
Through this supply chain initiative, Mena Gourmet Market aspires to introduce green, clean, and safe OCOP products to consumers while enhancing living standards and creating stable livelihoods for residents in remote areas.
Nguyen Duc Quynh, Chairman of the Danang Hotel Association, added, “The initiative will sustainably promote the cultural and agricultural values of the local area, contributing to the preservation and development of Vietnam's distinctive culinary heritage.
Danang Hotel Association and our partners are dedicated to maintaining long-term connections with farmers, helping their products reach consumers, and creating a green and civilized consumption ecosystem.”
