World Bank's US$4 billion loans for Vietnam for FY18-20

At the launching workshop on the Country Partnership Framework (CPF) with Vietnam on September 14, the World Bank (WB) announced its US$4 billion preferential loans for Vietnam during the financial year (FY)18-20.

ODA and preferential loans disbursed at US$1.5 billion only in first six months falling behind schedule

Prime Minister stressed that in 2017, for projects, ODA and preferential loans which have not been disbursed or under procedures, will be cut off and transferred to the government and localities to meet the disbursement plan as approved.
