Nghe An greenlights two FDI projects

The central province has granted the investment registration certificate to a $100 million project and the investment memorandum for a $300 million project.

Two more FDI projects are allowed to land in Nghe An

Nghe An province, on October 16, granted the investment registration certificate for the factory complex for the manufacturing of mobile phones’ electronic components to the investor of Goertek Technology Co. Company. 

The project has a total investment of $100 million. It will be built on an area of 40.48 ha in WHA Industrial Zone 1 Nghe An.

Construction work and industrial operations are expected to start in late 2020 and mid-2021 respectively.

Three years after its official launch, WHA Industrial Zone 1 – Nghe An has become a strong magnet for local and international investors. The WHA Industrial Zone 1 had an initial area of 145 hectares, which in turn, is part of the 498-hectare phase 1, now open to local and international investors. With a total area of 3,200 hectares upon completion, it will be one of the largest industrial zones in north-central Vietnam.

In addition, Nghe An province also granted the MoU on investment for the project of manufacturing electronic components to Everwin USA, LLC. The project has a total investment of $300 million.

Chairman of Nghe An People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung said that the province has attracted many key projects, including those of large investors to develop industrial parks of VSIP, WHA, and Hoang Thinh Dat. These are very professional infrastructure development investors and capable of attracting investment.
