Lux Travel DMC earns global recognition for sustainability
Lux Travel DMC has solidified its position as one of the global leaders in sustainable tourism with the prestigious Travelife Certified Sustainability Award 2025.
Vietnam’s first luxury tour operator Lux Travel DMC, a member of LuxGroup, has been honored with the prestigious Travelife Certified Sustainability Award 2025 at ITB Berlin, placing it among the world’s top six travel firms recognized for their commitment to responsible tourism.

Presented at the world’s largest travel trade show, this distinction marks a significant milestone not just for Lux Travel DMC but for Vietnam’s tourism industry as a whole. The Travelife certification, issued by the Amsterdam-based sustainability body, follows a rigorous audit of nearly 250 sustainability criteria, underscoring the company’s dedication to environmental conservation, social responsibility, and ethical business practices.
For Pham Ha, Founder and CEO of Lux Travel DMC, the award is more than just an accolade. It's validation of a long-term vision.
"Sustainability is no longer an option, it’s a necessity. The real challenge is blending luxury with responsibility," Ha stated at the award ceremony.
"We integrate Vietnam’s rich culture, heritage, and people into every journey, ensuring that high-end travel is both meaningful and sustainable. This recognition fuels our drive to innovate and set new industry standards," he added.
With this certification, Lux Travel DMC joins an exclusive global network of 500 travel companies committed to advancing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards in tourism.
Naut Lusters, Program Manager at Travelife, emphasized that Lux Travel DMC’s achievement will inspire other travel firms in Vietnam and across Asia to prioritize sustainability. It’s a powerful message that responsible tourism and business success can go hand in hand.
As luxury travel evolves, companies like Lux Travel DMC are proving that high-end tourism can be both opulent and ethical. With sustainability now a defining factor in consumer preferences, this recognition not only enhances Vietnam’s global tourism standing but also reinforces its commitment to a greener, more responsible travel industry.
