US giant backs Vietnam’s bid to lead ASEAN gas trade

Chairman of the Khanh Hoa provincial People's Committee Le Duc Vinh has urged investors to complete dossiers of five solar power projects in the province.
The projects include solar power plants in Cam Lam district, a floating solar power project on Suoi Dau and Cam Ranh lakes, An Viet solar power plant and Long Son solar power plant.
According to a report by the Khanh Hoa Department of Planning and Investment, the 75ha solar power project in Cam An Bac commune, Cam Lam district has a capacity of 50MWp with the total investment of more than VND1,103 billion (roughly US$48.64 million).
The floating power project on Suoi Dau lake invested by Kn Floating Suoi Dau Company Limited is located in an area of 74.23 hectares in Suoi Tan and Suoi Cat communes, Cam Lam districts with the total investment of more than VND1,204 billion (roughly US$53.1 million).
The floating solar power project on Cam Ranh lake is located on an area of 79.36 hectares in Cam Tan commune, Cam Lam district. The project is expected to have a capacity of 49.995MWp with the total investment of VND1,356 billion (roughly US$59.8 million).
The An Viet solar power project is located on an area of 60 hectares in Cam Thinh Dong commune, Cam Ranh City. The project has the total investment of VND1198 billion (roughly US$522.83 million) and the capacity of 40MWp.
Also, the200MWp Long Son power solar project in Ninh Son commune, Ninh Hoa town has the total investment of VND4,900 billion (roughly US$216.08 million).
The Chairman of Khanh Hoa province urged investors to complete the dossier and submit it to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
