Japanese corporation unearthed to invest in US$100 million tourist complex in Danang
Japanese investors want to expand the scale of the Xuan Thieu tourist area in Danang by nearly five times compared to the previous proposal.
Mikazuki Corporation (Japan) and Xuan Thieu Tourist Investment JSC have proposed to the Danang authorities to consider approving the expansion of the Xuan Thieu tourist area in Hoa Hiep Nam ward, Lien Chieu district, Danang city with the expansion area of over 53,000 square meters in the form of the annual land lease.
Earlier, the Danang People's Committee issued the Announcement No. 122/TB-UBND allowing Mikazuki Corporation to do surveys and invest in the expansion of Xuan Thieu tourist area.
The US$100 million project covers an area of nearly 11.5 hectares with the goal of developing a service complex including five-star hotels, water parks, game parks and food courts.
At the reception of Mikazuki Corporation’s CEO Yoshimune Odaka on January 29, 2018, Chairman of Danang People’s Committee Huynh Duc Tho said that if the expansion plan is approved, the investor must conduct the land auction procedures in accordance with existing regulations.
He emphasized that the city authorities would study and put the above-mentioned projects into the list of planning adjustment reports as well as conduct the procedures for land auction in this area in order to ensure publicity and transparency.
