On-demand multi-service platform GoViet has achieved 100 million rides over the course of one year, helping connect millions of local residents to 125 thousand driver-partners and 70,000 food merchants over all.
Over 125,000 driver-partners have joined the GoBike network since its initiation
First introduced in Ho Chi Minh City in August 2018 and in Hanoi a month later with its GoBike service, GoViet’s ecosystem has now developed into one of the largest consumer transactional platforms in the country with services including transportation, courier, and food delivery.
GoBike, in particular, has quickly reached 100 million rides across both cities, with a growth of more than 400 per cent in the number of orders in a 12-month period. Over 125,000 driver-partners have joined the GoBike network since its initiation.
Meanwhile, GoFood, which was launched in Ho Chi Minh City in November 2018 and in Hanoi in March 2019, has quickly emerged as a leader in the food delivery segment. The service has connected 70,000 merchant-partners and over 1 million menu items on the GoViet app to customers in both cities. GoFood’s number of orders have bolstered by 25-35 per cent a month.
Courier service GoSend has also completed millions of orders since its launch last year.
“We measure success not only in numbers, but also by the socio-economic impact that the company can make. This is the foundation on which we build a sustainable, long-term business model,” said Le Diep Kieu Trang, GoViet general director. “We are committed to further enhancing our solutions to meet the everyday needs of the Vietnamese people.”
According to GoViet, its GoFood service has played an important role in enabling micro and small- and medium-sized businesses to get access to more customers, expand their business models, and increase revenue.
GoBike driver-partners, on the other hand, have gained greater access to benefits as they are now entitled to travel insurance, community activities, and participation in a professional network of driver-partners.
