Although Vietnam can sit on its advantages after Covid-19, the country should not let reforms slip its mind.
The Committee on International Trade backed the free trade and investment protection agreements between the EU and Vietnam on Tuesday.
To ensure smooth and efficient operation of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) after the two sides finished the legal review process, both are actively resolving the final stages of this agreement which is expected to be signed by the end of this year.
Vietnam is expected to earn US$31 billion from exports of textile and garment this year, a ten per cent increase compared to last year.
The Preliminary agreement has been attained among ministers from 11 countries joining in the negotiation of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) during their meeting on the sidelines of the 2017 APEC Economic Leaders’ Week.
