VV Mall, the luxurious shopping centre, will be located in the first seaside resort in Vietnam and launched in Da Nang in second quarter of 2019.

Representatives of JLL Vietnam and VV Mall entered a partnership for the exclusive marketing and leasing of VV Mall

According to JLL Vietnam, it has entered into an agreement to become the exclusive marketing and leasing agent for VV Mall which covers 35,000 square meters of leasable space.

Located on the highway from Da Nang to Hoi An, VV Mall will offer renowned fashion brands, international duty-free store, and restaurant with various cuisine.

Notably, VV Mall is connected to Crowne Plaza Da Nang, and will offer the beach front to its guests. However, JLL Vietnam has not disclosed the rental price at VV Mall.

JLL Vietnam Country Head, Stephen Wyatt, comments: "Danang has witnessed a significant increase in tourism over the past few years and VV Mall will provide a truly international shopping mall experience that has yet to be seen in Danang."

JLL Vietnam Head of Markets, Trang Bui, believed that based on the design concept that 'Shopping in traveling and traveling while shopping', VV Mall will become one of the must-visit places in Danang for both domestic and international guests.

According to TheLEADER’s source, VV Mall is located on the base of JW Marriott Hotel that is under construction on Non Nuoc beach, Ngu Hanh Son district. The JW Marriott Hotel and VV Mall belong to the second phase of a complex developed by Silver Shores Investment and Development Ltd.

Phase 1 was completed and has been put into operation since the end of 2011 including the 535-room Crowne Plaza hotel and an entertainment area, Crowne International Club for foreigners.

Crown International Club is, in fact, a miniature casino with eight electronic gaming tables and 100 slot machines. Thanks to this casino, the Crowne Plaza hotel is operating at full capacity to serve visitors, most of whom come from China.

Due to the increasing number of Chinese visitors, Silver Shores Investment and Development Co., Ltd. has implemented the second phase on a larger scale. In particular, JW Marriott Hotel will have 800 rooms, which is larger than the total number of rooms of both JW Marriott hotels in Hanoi and Phu Quoc. Crown Casino will be located between Crowne Plaza and JW Marriott.

Despite being initially registered for investment under ownership of the U.S firm, in fact, Silver Shores Investment and Development Co., Ltd. is owned by a Chinese entrepreneur.
