LG Innotek secures $200 million IFC loan following revenue drop
LG Innotek Vietnam Hai Phong secured a $200 million IFC loan as revenue slows, aiming to expand camera module production while meeting sustainability targets.
The Vietnam Aquaculture 2017, which is Vietnam’s leading international event in the aquaculture industry will be held from October 25-27 at the Can Tho International Exhibition Fair Company (EFC), Can Tho city.
The exhibition will be co-held by the Thailand-based UBM Asia, the Directorate of Fisheries, the Vietnam Fisheries Society, International Collaborating Centre for Aquaculture and Fisheries Sustainability, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Can Tho branch) and the Vietnam Pangasius Association.
The exhibition will present the latest innovations in aquaculture, fisheries and seafood for the whole value chain, from production to processing and packaging to plate.
The exhibition will offer good opportunities for visitors to update their technical knowledge, market information and seek for the best products, technologies and services, which serves the production and handles difficulties and risks in aquaculture.
As part of the exhibition, Mekong Chef 2017 themed ”Cuisine day of Vietnam pangasius and trade promotion” will be held to introduce and promote pangasius products from business with other markets via dishes processed from domestic and foreign professional chefs.
Besides the exhibition, experts, association, government and academia will share a vast exchange of information and expertise to guests, participants and visitors in a series of technical seminars of Aquaculture Vietnam 2017.
The exhibition is expected to attract over 100 exhibitors and 1,500 visitors from many countries worldwide.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in 2016, aqua-products exports continue to be the material sector of the agriculture industry with the turnover of US$7 billion, up to 6.5 percent over 2015. Total aqua-product production of 2016 was estimated at over 6.7 million tons; 3.1 million tons of which was from catch (accounting for 44 per cent) and 3.6 million was from aquaculture (accounting for 54 per cent).
