Danang has rapidly established itself as a prominent destination for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) not only in Vietnam but also on the global landscape.
The international gateway
Danang is a thriving city boasting a robust network of convenient international air routes.
As of September 2023, there are 34 air routes to Danang, comprising of 8 domestic and 26 international routes. These routes consist of 15 regular direct routes and 11 charter routes.
Danang Department of Tourism reports a daily average of 110-118 flights to Danang, of which approximately 45-48 are international flights and 65-70 domestic flights.
The total number of flights to Danang has impressively reached nearly 34,500, equivalent to about 94 per cent of the volume during the same period in 2019.
Among these, 13,688 are international flights, representing 82 per cent of the pre-pandemic levels, while 20,797 are domestic flights, reflecting an increase of 3.46 per cent.
This enhanced connectivity makes the organization of international events more convenient than ever before.
Furthermore, Danang International Airport which is located just under 8 kilometres away from the Ariyana Convention Centre Danang, facilitating the convenient transportation of attendees and participants.

The Ariyana Convention Centre Danang holds a pivotal role within the MICE tourism ecosystem in Danang. Originally developed to host the APEC 2017, which welcomed 21 world economic leaders, the centre has since evolved into a premier and award-winning conference and exhibition centre in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
Spanning 12,000 square metres, the Ariyana Convention Centre Danang includes a versatile pillarless grand hall, a spacious conference lobby and six functional meeting rooms with a combined capacity of up to 3,000 guests.
