Japanese retailer to enter Vietnam

Japan’s household goods and apparel chain Muji plans to establish a Vietnam branch in August 2019 and open its first store in Ho Chi Minh City next spring.

Another Japanese player is about to step into Vietnam's retail market

The leading Japanese retailer,Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd, which owns a global retail chains named Muji, has a potential joint venture (JV) partner for Vietnam market entry with the expectation of opening its first store in Vietnam, according to its general manager Kenji Takeuchi.
