Prosecuting three criminal cases at petro companies

According to the Investigative Police, the receipt and use of unofficial payments at Vietsovpetro (VSP), Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Company Limited (BSR) and PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) are acts of law violation.

PVN's senior staffs are prosecuted and arrested

The Investigation Police Agency (IPA) under the Ministry of Public Security is conducting the further investigation (phase II) of the case of Ha Van Tham, former Chairman of OceanBank and accessory and a number of high-profile staff of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) have been prosecuted.

Nearly 750 people and legal entities involved in the wrongdoings of former Oceanbank Chairman Ha Van Tham were called to court. The session of hearing the cases in the lower court is expected to last 20 days.
