Masan to raise $65 million via upcoming bond issuance

Vietnam’s largest listed enterprise in terms of market capitalisation is seeking for its shareholders’ approval on the issuance of $750 million worth of bonds to global investors in 2019.
Mobile World Investment Corporation (Mobile World), the leading retail group of diversified product categories including mobile phones and consumer electronics, has successfully issued its inaugural fixed rate bonds of VND1,135 billion (US$50.02 million), guaranteed by Credit Guarantee and Investment Facility (“CGIF”), a trust fund of Asian Development Bank.
In the context of increasing inflation expectation since 2016, demand for credit capital and Government's bond issuance continues to be higher and higher, while the pace of investment capital disbursement still remains low, putting pressure on credit demand.
