At the meeting on September 15, the task force on public administration reform and representatives of departments and agencies submitted to the Minister of Industry and Trade, Tran Tuan Anh a report on inspection and simplification of business conditions and proposed a process of cutting down business condition as well as specific supervision options.
Based on to the inspection results, 27 industries and lines have 1,216 business conditions by September 12.
The Task Force proposed two options on cutting down business conditions, as follows:
Option 1: 464 business conditions are proposed to be cut down, equivalent to 38.15 per cent of total business conditions.
Option 2: 612 business conditions are proposed to be cut down, equivalent to 50.3 per cent of total business conditions.
17 business industries and lines have business conditions proposed to be cut down include: Petroleum; gas; explosive pre-substance; chemicals; alcohol; cigarette; foods; electricity; temporary import for re-export of frozen food; franchise; logistics; precursor substances in industrial area; commodity exchange; commercial inspection; multilevel; e-commerce; Industrial explosive materials (including disposal operations).
At the meeting, Anh requested that departments and agencies should assess the results as well as the impacts of the simplification of public administrative procedures on the enterprises as well as people as soon as possible.
"The assessment results will show us whether the efforts on cutting down business conditions are indeed right and necessary to remove barriers and difficulties for businesses or not. All problems should be overcome to facilitate enterprises’ development, thereby to protect the interests of consumers”, Anh emphasized.
The reduction of business conditions and the removal of difficulties for enterprises will be a key task throughout the process of the public administration reform and the improvements of the apparatus, institution, and the investment and business environments, Anh added.
Anh also agreed with the task force’s opinion that "there exist about 100 other business conditions need reviewing for reduction", assigning tasks to each department and agencies.
