The Government Office has just announced the conclusion of Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh at the 7th meeting of the Steering Committee on solutions to stabilise society and production for people in the four affected provinces in the central of Vietnam.

According to the Government Office, up to now, four affected provinces in the central basically get back to stable situation. The fishing and aqua - business activities have almost come back to normal. In addition, consumers basically have set their minds at rest as consuming seafood products.

However, due to both subjective and objective reasons, the compensation payment in some places have not met the requirements in terms of quantity and progress. The 4 provinces still have to face many difficulties and complexities.

Therefore, in order to ensure the completion of compensation payments, Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh asked the locals to focus on completing the price adjustment, approving the total amount of damages and paying indemnity to the people according to the Prime Minister's Decision No.1880/QD-TTg and No.309/QD-TTg. The Ministry of Finance lay out the budget for the localities and coordinate with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in reporting the results to the Prime Minister.

Deputy Prime Minister agreed to deal with the amount of seafood storage at the request of Quang Binh province (3,096.5 tons, of which 134.6 tons was failed to ensure food safety are disposal) and Quang Tri province (21,05 tons of unsafe food) which have been confirmed by the Ministry of Health and interdisciplinary agencies.

Simultaneously, the Deputy PM also approved the proposal of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on assigning the Chairman of the People's Committee of the four provinces to collect the data of damages because this is the final review and amendment to resolve the case.
