A deputy minister proposed to be fired for wrongdoings

TheLEADERThe Central Inspection Committee has made decision on giving discipline to and proposed competent authorities firing Nguyen Thi Kim Thoa from her current position as Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade in compliance with Regulation No. 260-QD/TW of the Political Bureau.

Earlier on July 3, the Central Inspection Committee had reported the contents of the inspection when there were signs of violation of Ho Thi Kim Thoa.

When she served as Party Committee Secretary, Director of Dien Quang Lamp Joint Stock Company (JSC), Party Committee Secretary, Chairwoman of the Board, General Director of Dien Quang Lamp JSC (period from January, 2004 to May, 2010), the Central Inspection Committee found Thoa responsible for several serious wrongdoings as follows:

Violating the order and procedures for privatization of state-owned enterprises.

Failing to properly and adequately carry out the procedures prescribed by the State's decision on land management in the course of signing contract and appendix on investment cooperation in land lot No. 12 Ton Dan, Ho Chi Minh City between Dien Quang Lamp JSC and Constrexim Company under Ministry of Construction, without the approval of the owner and the competent authorities.

Buying shares exceeding the allowable limit; Transferring shares in incompliance with the Charter of the Company. That the State's stakes is transferred into Dien Quang Investment and Trading Co., Ltd without approval violates the regulation on state capital management at the enterprise.

Failing to declare correctly or completely assets and incomes in accordance with regulations on asset and income declaration for a long time.
