Compared with 2015, Vietnam's market has rebounded after falling from the peak of 5.2 billion noodle packages in 2013.
Vietnam's instant noodles consumption has declined over the last few years as annual average consumption continues to be high.
By 2015, it is estimated that each Vietnamese consumes 52 packs of noodle, just lower than that of South Korea (73 packs).
Many other countries also experience the lower demand of instant noodle, except India with a rise of 30% last year.
In Vietnam, Vina Acecook, Masan Consumer and Asia Foods are the three largest producers, accounting for 70% of the instant noodles market.
