Vietjet inaugurates new Danang – Taipei route

TheLEADERLow-cost carrier Vietjet has launched its latest route connecting Danang and Taipei, offering bubble tea lovers a chance to enjoy their favourite drink right in the Land of Bubble Tea.

The Danang – Taipei route will operate daily starting from December 19 on its new A320/A321 aircraft. The flight departs from Danang at 10:50 and arrives in Taipei at 14:30. The return flight takes off from Taipei at 15:30 and lands in Danang at 17:30.

According to Jay Lingeswarak, director of International Sales & Distribution at Vietjet, the new Danang – Taipei route is a part of the plan to expand Vietjet’s flight network to bring more flying opportunities for residents and travelers.

“Traveling to Taiwan and even other destinations in the region is easy and affordable with just a click to hunt VND0 promotional tickets everyday. In the coming time, Vietjet will continue to open new routes to help connecting local provinces to other countries in the region, promoting tourism and trade, making it easy for people to travel from their hometowns without moving to big cities,” said Lingeswara.

To celebrate the new route, hundreds of thousands of super-saving tickets are up for grabs at golden hours between 12:00 – 14:00 from August 27-29, via Vietjet website www.vietjetair.com and its mobile app. The promotional tickets are applied to all routes connecting Ho Chi Minh City/ Hanoi/ Danang to Taipei/ Taichung/ Tainan/ Kaohsiung with the flight period from October 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020.

Vietjet currently operates eight routes and operates nearly twenty flights per day to cities of Taiwan. More than 3,000 daily passengers can depart from Hanoi, Danang and Ho Chi Minh City to big cities in Taiwan, including Taipei, Taichung, Kaohsiung and Tainan, via Vietjet flights.
