With an expected GDP growth of 6.3 per cent in 2023, Vietnam's economy is thriving and attracting more investments. The expansion of industries like manufacturing, retail, and the high demand for packaged goods is boosting the need for packaging.
Additionally, increased e-commerce and new free trade agreements are driving strong demand for packaging in Vietnam.
In this context, Informa Markets Vietnam brings back the 16th International Processing, Packaging Exhibition for Vietnam, also known as ProPak Vietnam 2023.
The exhibition will take place from November 8 to 10, 2023, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
The event is expected to attract over 400 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and territories, covering a total area of 10,000 square metres. The program anticipates hosting more than 10,500 visitors, promising significant trade opportunities for the packaging industry both locally and regionally.
In this return edition, ProPak Vietnam 2023 has garnered an extensive participation of over 400 exhibiting companies originating from more than 30 countries and territories.
Many of them derive from top global leaders in packaging innovation, including the United States, Italy, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Austria, Denmark, Belgium, Spain, Singapore, Australia, Japan, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, India and so on.
The products on display mainly focus on packaging tech, processing tech, materials, drinktech, pharmatech, cold chain, logistics and warehousing, coding, marking, labeling, printech, lab and tests and other general services.
In addition to the exhibition, the event offers various educational opportunities. These include an international conference on “Smart Packaging for the Asia Pacific: How can Vietnam benefit from these technologies?”.
There will be seminars on topics like “Regulations on the extended responsibility of manufacturers under The Environmental Protection Law: The chance for the development of green - environmentally and friendly packaging", or “Optimizing processing and technology packaging: Improve production efficiency and reduce environmental impact”.
There is also a technical seminar series called "PROTALK" - a series of technical presentations hosted by exhibitors in the show. These programs are curated by experts from global and Vietnamese organizations such as Vietnam Food Science and Technology (VAFoST), Centre For Environmental Service And Event, Active & Intelligent Packaging Industry Association (AIPIA), along with other prestigious organizations.
Through ProPak Vietnam 2023, businesses can stay updated with the latest technology and market trends in processing and packaging. They can also establish and develop new business relationships. Consequently, this event is eagerly anticipated by packaging industry businesses in Vietnam and globally.
