Based on the investigation report, the dumping margin in respect of the wind towers exported to Australia by Vietnamese exporters for the investigation period is 2.6 per cent.
The SEF (Statement of Essential Facts) would be placed on the public record no later than 01 December 2017. Interested parties are invited to make submissions to the ADC's Commissioner in response to the SEF within 20 days of the SEF being placed on the public record.
ADC's recommendation to the Parliamentary Secretary will be made in the final report due on or before January 25, 2018. The Parliamentary Secretary must issue a decision within 30 days of receipt of the recommendation.
On June 08, 2017, ADC initiated an investigation into the alleged dumping of Vietnam’s wind towers (HS code: 7308.20.00, 7308.90.00 and 8502.31.10) exported to Australia.
The applicants are Ottoway Fabrication Pty Ltd and Keppel Prince Engineering Pty Ltd. Investigation period for dumping is from January 01, 2015 to December 31, 2016. Injury investigation period is from January 01, 2013 to the date.
The preliminary anti-dumping duty calculated by ADC for Viet Nam’s wind tower exports was intended to impose at 15.7 per cent.
