Toyota surpasses Thaco to get largest slice of Vietnam car market

After a long time lagging behind Thaco, Toyota has been accelerating its sales on the market for several months and officially surpassed the domestic assembler to reach a 30 per cent of market share in October 2018.

Sales from locally assembled cars surpassed imported ones in May

According to Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers' Association, sales of complete knocked-down cars was 19,467 units, accounting for nearly 85 per cent of the total market in last month.
